Q Explain transformational and transactional leadership styles, and give examples of each. Identify the conditions under which each is likely to be effective.
Transformational leadership style helps to enhance the engagement and motivation of the followers by directing the behaviour towards a perfectly shared vision. Transactional leadership is operative within existing boundaries of structures, goals and procedures (Parnel, 2012). Transformational leadership goes beyond everyday operations for the sake of the success of the company and the example of transformational leadership is the CEOs of the famous organizations like Apple, Walmart, and TESCO.
